S&S Roofing is a fourth-generation, locally owned and operated roofing company serving Snohomish, Island, and Skagit counties. Shane Dunlap
Owner
Shane is part owner of S&S Roofing and works in the field as an estimator. Shane grew up in the roofing industry. His father started a roofing company, ADR Roofing, in 1980 when Shane was born.Shane remembers growing up being involved in his dad’s company. He was up on the roof, assisting his dad with measuring, tearing off, and installing new roofs. He would also ride along to dump the roofing debris after projects were done.After growing up working with his dad, in 2009, Shane decided to open up his own roofing company, which his father backed 100%. Later he bought ADR Roofing from his father to expand the business. When you request an estimate from S&S Roofing, it will be Shane who comes to your home. Shane also stops by the job site to check up on his team and make sure the project runs smoothly. You will see Shane’s true passion for roofing and how his number one priority is taking care of his customers.
Sheri Dunlap
Owner
Sheri owns S&S Roofing with her husband, Shane. She works full-time in the office assisting with daily financial and growth of the company. Sheri spent many years working for other companies in accounting, payroll, and marketing before she decided to join her husband at the family company.Sheri is involved with the Arlington Food Bank’s A Simple Gesture program and collects food at S&S Roofing to help support local families. Putting a smile on people’s faces is a definite passion of hers, along with keeping the local coffee shops thriving! Her average day looks like waking up, getting coffee, spending time with her daughter, Madi, getting coffee, watching crime shows with Shane, and probably getting more coffee!Her caring and giving heart dates back to wanting to be a teacher when she was a child. As she may not have followed that exact dream, she keeps everyone around her feeling loved and appreciated. If you stop by the showroom, please make sure to say hi to her! She loves meeting everyone who trusts their roofing needs to S&S Roofing.
Nancy Johnson
Accountant
Nancy has worked in accounting her whole life and started S&S Roofing with Shane and Sheri in 2009. She has since been able to retire, and although we are so glad she has been able to do that we still consider her a part of our S&S team.Nancy frequently stops in and says hi and offers her accounting expertise from time to time. She loves golfing and traveling to Arizona with her husband, Steve, in her free time and is very much a huge part of her kids and grandkids’ lives. We are so lucky to have her!
Jami King
Office Assistant
Jami is our newest addition to the office team here at S&S Roofing! When she is not here learning what ridge cap or drip edge is, she is running her two kids, Diesel and Dylan, around town to activities or hanging with her family and friends. She is a proud Arlington native and plans on keeping Arlington her home for life!
Ashly Olander
Accounting / Sales Support
We’d like to introduce you to this kind, bubbly, and funny soul who works in our accounting office and you will also most likely hear from her when scheduling your new roof installation.
Ashly, who is Shane and Sheri’s niece, is an animal lover at heart and loves NOAH! Ashly and her fiancé, Andrew, just became the proud parents of the adorable Holley, a rescue dog that will be playmates with their other 3 rescue kitties, Henry, Hailey, and Catherine.
Her life motto is to live life to the fullest! Try new foods! Have new experiences!… and she’ll probably do this with her family in tow as they are truly her besties! Once you meet Ashly, you can’t help but love her and she attributes this to her grandma, Nancy, who she admires for teaching her so much in life to make her who she is today!
Jose Arreola
Field Superintendent
Jose has been with S&S Roofing since day one with Shane and Sheri. He is our field superintendent and such a ray of sunshine in the office. He loves watching soccer and vacationing with his wife and 3 boys. You will meet him at your final inspection for your new roof, if not sooner on the roof.
Steve McCoy
Estimator / Manager
Please meet our team’s Estimating Manager, Steve McCoy. His personal motto is WORK HARD, LOVE YOUR FAMILY & FRIENDS, and TREAT PEOPLE FAIRLY. We can absolutely say with certainty that he lives by these words through and through.When he isn’t working with you, he is running his personal business of 15 years, raising his daughters, and keeping up with the score of the M’s game! You will love his honesty, directness, and relaxed nature. Mention fishing or hunting and you will probably have a friend for life! He is always looking forward to meeting new people and will help you in any way he can because that is who Steve is.
Andrew Olander
Estimator / Safety Inspector
Andrew has been our quality control and safety inspector for many, many years and has recently added Estimator to his resume. We are excited for him to join our estimating team! Not only is he gifted in the height department, but he is also a very energetic, funny, caring, and hard-working team member.His passions include working on cars and bass fishing, of which two of his goals this year are to catch bigger fish and complete a very special car project for Sheri. A few causes he cares deeply for our Make-A-Wish Foundation and Driven to Cure. One thing on his bucket list is to go to Japan. For Andrew, it’s the simple things in life that make him tick and thrive each and every day.
Jason Allen
Estimator
Jason Allen has been a dedicated fixture to the S&S Roofing team since 2013. There’s a good chance he will be the estimator at your home to work with you when you need a new roof. He will serve you with a warm, friendly smile, and you’ll swear you’ve been friends forever by the end of your meeting. If you have any questions about any possible sporting event that might have ever happened, he is your man.When not working at S&S Roofing or watching the game, he is raising his son, Jason Jr, checking in with family and friends, or enjoying whatever animal may be in his sight at the time. His laugh is contagious, his heart is huge, and it’s hard to not enjoy being his coworker or friend.
Sean Lewis
Quality Control
Sean has been with S&S Roofing since 2023. You might see him delivering and picking up the dump truck during your roofing project or delivering extra material to your roofing crew. He is an asset to ensure your roofing project runs smoothly and efficiently. In his off-time he loves cheering on the Seahawks with his friends and spending time with his dad. Sean is always there to help and support. We value the hard work he puts in day-in and day-out here at S&S Roofing!
Kaleb Barnett
General Laborer
Kaleb is one of the newest additions to the S&S Roofing team. He is our gentle giant that you might find at your home while you are having a new roof installed by us. You would find him doing tasks such as cleaning up roofing debris, delivering material or delivering your dump truck. Kaleb is so friendly and an absolute joy to have around our job sites.
Cristian Esteban
Repair Foreman
Cristian has been part of our S&S Roofing repair team since 2023. He has been roofing his whole life. If you have any kind of roof repair or roof cleaning needed he will be your estimator and there is a good chance he will be doing the repair or cleaning as well. He is very family oriented and loves spending time fishing with his boys and being at home with his wife raising their kids together. He is so family oriented that his repair apprentice that he works with everyday is his brother-in-law. They are a great team.
Steven Benitez
Repair Technician Apprentice
Steven started as Cristian’s apprentice and right hand man in the beginning of 2025. He is excited to learn the trade of roofing and we are excited for him. He works alongside Cristian every day so you will see him at your house when we are doing your repair and/or cleaning. He loves spending time at home with his wife and 2 boys and playing video games.
